We used Jim to mark a 30 acre woodlot, broker the sale, and manage the onsite operations of the logging crew. We were able to increase the quality of our stand for the future, we received top dollar for the timber, and we enjoyed very minimal disturbance around the property. Jim Neutzel did a professional and responsible job in harvesting my trees. He even helped me to find someone to purchase the tops of the trees. I think he is an honest person and did what he promised. I would have no problem telling my friends or family to use his harvesting services.

Jim knocked on my door last spring and introduced himself as a timber harvester. He was a nice young pleasant man and we discussed the harvesting of my woodlot. Jim inspected my woodlot and explained what he would do to harvest the timber. He did all the work in contacting buyers, meeting them on my property and discussing the timber with them. Jim negotiated the price with the buyers. Once a buyer was decided on Jim provided me with a copy of his Insurance. We decided on a landing place for loading the timber and he assured me the landing place would be returned to its original state (it was good as new). I received the check for the timber very quickly and then paid Jim his percentage. His percentage was much less than I expected for the amount of work and equipment used to harvest the timber. I was on vacation during the period Jim harvested the timber, therefore he kept me informed via email with pictures of his progress. I am pleased with the entire transaction and have no qualms recommending Jim. In my opinion he is a professional businessman that will treat you fair.
